History

The Practice was re-established in May 2020, having previously delivered projects in the early 2000’s.  The Director, Bruce Danraj, studied Architecture at Robert Gordon's University and after a brief period in Edinburgh returned to Aberdeen to continue his career and has since been responsible for many well known and prestigious buildings and projects around Aberdeen. His experience whilst employed by others spans many sectors and he has worked through every stage of the process, from early feasibility studies to Contract Administration and handover. There are colleagues who support the workload.

Ethos

The practice strives to deliver the best solution for clients by putting the clients specific needs first and foremost. This is done by listening and working together to develop a good working brief which can then be reflected in the design. At all stages reviews will be done and presented in Stage reports for the clients perusal and approval before the next stage commences. The work will be delivered in an efficient and timely manner and will meet Local Authority Regulations and will pay heed to Health and Safety requirements. Other consultants may need to be engaged to carry our key duties such as costs or structure, where needed. The practice considers equal opportunities, ethnicity, sexual orientation and religion are paramount. Client confidentiality is important and all General Data Protection guidelines will be observed. Bruce is a chartered Architect registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and as such follows strict codes of professional conduct.

Environment

The practice considers the environment to be crucial for both this generation and future generations, and strives to ensure this is reflected in all designs and specifications. All advice will be given with this in mind. The practice strives to recycle what it can in a safe and legal manner.
